Osteoporosis prevention is a family effort starting as young as age 9 and continuing through your entire lifetime.
Fuchsia Friday at Sequoia Health is dedicated to FUN Physical Activities. Come and try our newest weight bearing game Whack-it TM; more FUN than racquetball, easier to learn than tennis and a better workout than a treadmill! Easy to learn and play. Good for all ages. Mothers bring your daughters, grandmothers bring your daughters. We will have games and lessons from 4pm to 7pm. Come play, Whack-it TM you'll love it!
Fuchsia Friday at Sequoia Health is dedicated to education. Educational materials on Osteoporosis prevention will be available helping you learn how to take charge of your bone health. We'll also have some delicious, calcium-rich recipes to try at home compliments of Michele Powers of NutrientChef.
Fuchsia Friday at Sequoia Health is the kick-off for our monthly Herndon/Reston Osteoporosis Prevention Support Group. All donations and proceeds go to the National Osteoporosis Foundation in their continuing efforts to fund educational programs and raise awareness for Osteoporosis prevention.
